Scott Alexander is the only candidate with leadership experience. As the current Chairman of the Kingsland Planning Commission and as a planning commissioner for over 3 years, he has the knowledge to guide the future of Kingsland through smart growth and fiscal responsibility. As a Retired Naval Officer with 26 years of active service, Scott rose through the ranks to Chief Petty Officer before being commissioned in 1989 and retiring in 2000. As a professional Realtor for the past 10 years and immediate past President of the Camden/Charlton County Board of Realtors, Scott guided fellow Realtors through the toughest time in recent years while continuing to "sell Kingsland" on a professional and personal level. As past President and 6 year Board member of the United Way of Camden County, he helped provide assistance to the 22 local agencies affiliated with the organization and volunteered his time in numerous projects to improve the quality of life to Camden County Residents.

Scott has been married to his wife Patty for 32 years and they have 2 children - Marcus and Ashley. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Management) and a Master Degree in Business Administration. He and his wife own a local real estate company.

Scott has proven that he has the ability, education and experience to lead Kingsland in the future and will concentrate his efforts on attracting new jobs to the City, improve the quality of life for it's citizens and work to restore property values while reducing taxes.
