It's time for an Alderman that has: Executive Management Experience, Financial Background, Development Experience, Negotiating Skills, Team building skills to build effective relationships by all: Political Officials, Constituents, Faith Based Organizations and Business Owners.

The 24th Ward needs an Alderman - one that understands the plythe of the people and sensitive to the needs of all the people. How do we help NORTH LAWNDALE?

The answer can be found in the voices of Illinoisans who themselves live in the poorest communities in the state OF ILLINOIS-NORTH LAWNDALE:

North Lawndale is one of the poorest communities (out of the 77) in Chicago: The 24th Ward-North Lawndale Communities face many problems including unemployment, poverty, drugs, foreclosures, truancy, crime, education, infestation of drugs, housing as well as a lack of quality health care.

North Lawndale’s unemployment rate is almost triple the cities average with approximately 60% of 20 to 24 year olds jobless. As a result, 44% of the population lives below the federal poverty line..

Here I stand in North Lawndale with one foot in each of two worlds - one in poverty, the other planted firmly in the so called American Dream. With this sense of obligation, I have made a moral decision to represent a much needed ward, the 24th. Ward in North Lawndale.

In me there is a deep-seeded and spiritual belief that no child no person, SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE IN POVERTY. REFORM is needed in the 24th Ward.

The Bottom line, if we do not improve our voting power, we will have to fight long and hard towards instant improvement. To lessen this battle, we have to reform our voting powers. Instead of a 30% turn out, lets increase this to 80%. Are the problems in the 24th Ward solvable? YES!

HOW??

CHANGE IN GOVERNMENT AND EXPERIENCES.

In the 24th Ward. We have the highest percentage of return offenders which contributes highly to the presence of drugs, gangs and over-all violence. Another key thing to keep in mind: OUR SENIORS (our past) - HEALTH CARE- (our present) OUR CHILDREN – (our future). If we do not protect this NOW, we are sure to face more catastrophes in our journey.

As Alderman of the 24th Ward, I will continue to work with you and for you. With your help, we can make our streets safer for ourselves and our families.

With your help we can demand jobs because I demand perfection in training all residents to become marketable employees. I will form a coalition of “Honest Alderman” working and combining our power to empower our people, our communities.

The problem of transforming the ghetto is, therefore, a problem of power a confrontation between the forces of power demanding change and the forces of power dedicated to preserving the status quo. His stay attracted much attention, but little tangible change. Lets restore the reformation of laws to remove discrimination especially discrimination against the formerly incarcerated. I am the missing Political Peace with the spirituality to effectively represent you and be your voice and demand to be heard. This is my calling and my passion.

In order to bring about a positive C.H.A.N.G.E to the 7th Ward you must help me to help you. As Alderman, I will restore the Honor and respectability to the people I'll serve by listening to them and being their voice. I will be responsive to the people's concerns and addressing them. Many people want to be an Alderman, but only a few really want to do the job; I want to do the job!

As a resident of the 7th Ward I want to see Action by the officials who are charged to serve us. As my background shows and as your next Alderman I will continue to:

* Work on gentrifying our Ward through the City's planning and development
* Work towards building safe passages for our youths
* Create employment opportunities for not only adults, but for teens as well
* Educate citizen on public safety measures
* Work with high school students that are trying to prepare for their college entrance exams and excel with their academic achievements

We don't need action tomorrow- we need it Now! In order for us to move forward and Grow as a community, we need to come together and embrace C.H.A.N.G.E. As a member of Chicago's first line of defense on emergency preparedness and crime prevention, I am aware of the issues and concerns that are stressing our community. I feel it is not only my responsibility, but my civic obligation to Empower my neighbors and the residents of the 7th Ward to help bring about change.

As we all know the political system is broken. We see it every day in Washington. Unfortunately this inept government system has moved from Washington to Springfield. I feel I can no longer sit on the sidelines while I watch our neighborhoods fall victim to a two party system that no longer cares for the people it is suppose to serve.

I understand the difficulties many families face as many a night my wife and I sit at our table and pick which bills to pay and which can wait a little longer. I am running for the State House as an independent, not as a part of any machine or party and my only goal is to bring back common sense to the political process and to serve the community I love. I’m asking for your support by electing me to the State Assembly from the 50th District. I can't do this alone. Will you help me? Will you stand with me and shout "NO MORE"! It’s time to dig deep and decide if you are going to shape your own destiny or have someone else do it for you. Stand with me!
