Professionally, Michael started his career as a Police Officer in North Carolina after graduating from Ferris State University with a BS in Criminal Justice. He returned to Michigan to receive his JD from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Michael is a Probate Court Appointee for Grand Traverse and Leelanau Counties and for the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. He has been admitted to the Federal Court of Michigan in the Eastern and Western Districts as well as the Grand Traverse Band and Little Traverse Band Tribal Courts. ]]>
